Ian Mason, RMT
Registered Massage Therapist

Ian Mason, RMT
Registered Massage Therapist
Ian began his career as a Massage Therapist in 2006 after graduating from Sutherland-Chan School and Teaching Clinic in Toronto. He went on to work at a variety of multidisciplinary clinics and an Urban Spa where he developed his skills in trigger point therapy, myo-fascial release, muscle testing, relaxation massage, shiatsu acupressure, and his general sense of touch.
In 2014 Ian left Toronto and moved to Victoria via a one year working-holiday in New Zealand. In New Zealand Ian rested his hands from the wear and tear of massage and worked as a coffee barista. Once in Victoria, he resumed his work as an RMT amongst the delightful staff of the Parkside Spa.
After a few years in the spa environment, Ian decided he needed to return to a more clinical setting. He jumped on the opportunity to join the team at Moss Healthcare and continue helping people through massage.
When not massaging, Ian can be found spending time with his family, developing websites, drinking coffee, or any combination of the three.

Mehdy Mahjoub is a dedicated Practitioner who trained at the National Academy of Osteopathy. He was recently awarded a scholarship to pursue a Doctor of Osteopathy degree. He is registered with the College of Registered Manual Osteopaths among other renowned Associations. Beyond the mainstream osteopathic education, Mehdy pursued an advanced program that offered him the opportunity to deepen his knowledge in clinical biomechanics and nutrition, kinesiology taping, advanced craniosacral therapy, and visceral manipulation. He has conducted numerous case studies of structural dysfunctions and chronic pain disorders that equipped him with vast practical knowledge and professional qualifications. Mehdy is also pursuing a Doctor of Naprapathy degree that enhances his capacity in facilitating the recuperative and regenerative processes of the body.
To meet individual patients needs, Mehdy uses a large variety of osteopathic techniques such as Joint Mobilization, Muscle Energy Techniques, and Soft Tissue Therapy to reduce tensile and compressive stress on the body and mind, and dramatically speed up the healing process of structural, functional, cranial, visceral, and fascial disorders. Using a non-invasive holistic healing approach with his patients, Mehdy always works towards general health and well-being maintenance. Through his practices, Mehdy has become specialized in treating and preventing common disorders that affect every aspect of our lives such as temporomandibular joint disorder (TMJ/TMD).
Mehdy’s other passion is osteopathic treatments of headaches and migraines, where he uses Cranial Osteopathy to minimize and stop the discomfort and pain. His interest in the well-being of office workers has led Mehdy to focus on daily treatment and advice to achieve effective and long-lasting results in the relief of low back, neck, shoulder, and other pain associated with office work. Mehdy’s ‘hands-on’ patient approach always includes patient education. He believes that knowing and understanding the problem is half of the solution. His passion, commitment, dedication, and practical performance are some of many of Mehdy’s greatest assets, and a true testament to his competence as an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner.
Besides Osteopathy, Mehdy holds a master’s degree with a specialization in Health Communication, and an extensive experience in healthcare environments. He also combines fluency in Arabic, French and English with cultural awareness and the ability to connect well with people around the globe. A set of skills that he developed through his everlasting passion for travelling the world.
Mehdy was introduced to the concepts of mindfulness and meditation at a young age. He is keen on integrating them into daily practice. He is also inspired by the iḥsān philosophy and continuously seeks to improve his methods. He is on the constant lookout for the most up-to-date studies and modalities to capitalize on them and render his practices efficient, relevant, and contemporary. When Mehdy is not at the clinic, you might find him freediving under the ebb and flow of the pacific.
