What to Expect?

  • First Visit
    • A detailed history of your current complaint and general health; and a chiropractic exam to get to the root of the problem
    • Depending on your specific situation, you may be referred for X-rays and/or further medical evaluation
    • We will then discuss the diagnosis and explain the treatment plan
    • If you consent to treatment, it most often begins on this day
  • Subsequent Visits
    • Subsequent visits don’t take as much time as the first visit because we now have a care plan in place
    • The frequency and duration of your visits will vary from person to person
    • Monitor progress and re-evaluate at an appropriate time

Phases of Care

Initial Intensive Care for Pain Relief

People usually first come to us seeking relief from pain. During this phase of care, our goal is to reduce your pain, increase your ranges of motion, improve the function of your nervous system, and suggest ways that you can participate in your own recovery. Your visits can be compared to going to the gym in that each visit builds on the ones before. If you miss a visit, you may lose the momentum necessary to make the needed changes. Also, you don’t expect to be all fit and healthy after just one visit to the gym!

Maintenance Care for Overall Wellness

Some think that health is merely the absence of pain or symptoms. A wellness approach to health means implementing a variety of healthy habits for optimum function on all levels. Designed to maintain your improved health and spinal function, and prevent the return of the
original condition once spinal correction has been attained. Regular visits catch small problems before they become serious. Prevention saves time and money by helping you stay well.
